About me

"...known for creating evocative, texture-rich works that seamlessly balance fluid contemporary abstraction with expressive architectural and landscape realism."

Sangeeta Sagar is a contemporary British abstract artist and sculptor based in London. Working across oil, acrylic, mixed media and bronze, she explores texture, movement and the connection between humanity and the natural world.

Her intuitive, multi-layered works combine rich tactile surfaces, earthy tones and dynamic forms, drawing inspiration from natural landscapes, architectural structures and organic patterns. Her practice spans highly textured series such as Quartz and Cliffside, alongside fine-line drawings and narrative bronze sculptures.

Nature is at the heart of Sangeeta’s work and her wider artistic ethos. Her work has supported the Ucumari Project, helping protect the Andean rainforests of Colombia.

Her paintings and sculptures are suited to a wide range of settings, from private residences and hospitality spaces to corporate and public environments. Her work is represented on platforms including Saatchi Art and UK curated art networks.
